If you design a HTML asset that displays the status bar, you will need to consider the height of it, which is 64px on iOS devices.
So, e.g. for iPads in Portrait view the height of HTML assets is 1024px-64px=960px
For Android devices the height and width varies a lot depending on the device, and there is no specific height of the status bar, as it's completely device dependant.
