3)  URL

4)  Smart Library

Please refer to the details below for more information.

1) Pre-Packaged asset

These are .zip files that have been packaged with the Asset Packager. Download the INTERACT Asset Packager to create more advanced assets.

2) Single files

The following file types are supported for the following devices:

AAC, MP4, M4V, MP3, M4A:

These are video and audio files, please keep the overall file size small to support quick upload to SAM and download to myINTERACT. For more details please refer to Video optimisation.

BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIF, TIFF:

Images should be saved in RGB colour space to support correct mobile device display. To make good use of images for iPad devices they should be resized to max. 1024x768 px or 1024x768px.

DOC, DOCX:

Tables and images might not display correctly, please test the uploaded Word document. Alternatively convert the document to a PDF file before uploading.

KEY:

Key files don't need to be optimised or converted before uploading.

NUMBERS, XLS, XLSX:

For these files disable 'Support Fullscreen Mode' to be able to navigate between tabs. Embedded images should be colour corrected. Calculators are not supported.

PAGES:

Images are not being displayed. This is a known problem and we are working towards a solution. Please convert the document to a PDF file before uploading.

PDF:

To  maximise the screen usage of the iPad please make sure your PDF page size is 1024x768 px or 768x1024 px (or double the size for retina display). Colours should be in RGB colour space, for more details please refer to our PDF colour correction.

PPT, PPTX:

RTF, TXT:

RTF files don't need to be optimised or converted before uploading.

WEBARCHIVE:

Simple Webarchives, without forms, database queries or similar are supported.

This will create an automatic redirect asset to the specified link. Only public URLs are supported, including http:// as well as https:// protocols.
