Events that have ended are updated accordingly in SAM. At this point you might still want to connect someone to the event content.
The identifier for ended events can be seen by accessing the below:
Navigate to [myINTERACT]> [My Events], once on this screen there is a table heading for [Event ended?] and will populate with a flag of Yes or No.
Clicking [Edit Event] on an ended event which will also display information that the event has ended.
NOTE: When an event has ended, you can not edit the event or send reminder emails.
Events in an ended state still allow to
- Add and Remove assets. This will allow attendees to access the content from the event as well as receive any follow-up content post event. For more information see: Add Event Assets or Remove Event Assets
- Add new attendees, this allows for attendees that were interested in the event but were unable to attend the event to still gain access to the events content. For more information see: Event Attendees or Remove Attendees
- Send Invites to guests, this allows for guests that were interested in the event but were not invited to attend the event to still gain access to the events content. For more information see: Send Event Invites or Send Event Reminders
When the event has ended, invitation emails look a bit different than the original event invites, as there is no more option to nominate if one is attending the event.
